MERRY CHRISTMAS 2025!

Thanks to everyone who has been following me, both new and old, for the support this year. It’s been great to meet a few of you too!

It’s been a quiet last few months hobby wise while TCB on the Home Front, but I’ve plenty planned for next year and intend to get back to an hour of hobby time a day.

Here’s a quick summary:

SWORD BEACH & NWE ‘44

> LSI (Landing Ship Infantry) build in 20mm
> Upgrades to several of the defences for Sword beach (rebuild of Morris, redoing concrete for all the bunkers, a new Villa for the waterfront, and a re-work of Ouistreham).
> Shermans, Sextons, M10s, Commandos (including in smocks for late war), and some HQ bits to build.
(20mm using Rapid Fire Reloaded)

FALKLANDS ‘82

> Everything is now sourced, so a small number of vehicles and aircraft to build (including a Harrier and a Pucara), and about 100 figures to paint.
> Terrain has been started, with a centrepiece for the table planned to be an ‘inspired by’ mountain with sangars. I’m quite excited by this one!

NAPOLEONICS

> My Napoleonics should made a slow march forward, one battalion at a time.🤞
(18mm using Valour & Fortitude and GdA2)

I said to myself no new projects…🤦‍♂️

BURMA ‘44 – new project!

It’s off the mark with all the figures sourced, most based and primed. This is primarily an infantry based project with a handful of vehicles.
(20mm, using Battlegroup)

‘Nam ‘67 – new project!

My second new project for the new year, and another mostly infantry based project, the terrain for Burma will also stand in for ‘nam. US figures en route, plus a Huey to be built. Platoon-sized game.
(20mm – rules set not yet decided)

That lot should keep me out of trouble for an evening or two.
